Thread Lifting with the APTOS Methods

The non-surgical facelift

If you are looking for a non-surgical way to get younger look again, then the fastest growing anti-ageing treatment could be the answer.  SydneyWest Aesthetics is proud to introduce the new generation of thread lifting from APTOS, the world leader in thread lifting technology. Internationally acclaimed and winner of numerous trophies for threads excellence, APTOS has the largest range of threads and thread lifting techniques available in Australia.

The thread lifting is an easy way to smooth wrinkles and tighten sagging skin without surgery. There is a huge increase in the number of enquiries about thread liftings lately.

Aptos thread lifting procedure is performed under local anaesthesia.   The result can be assessed at least 2 months after the procedure, when a connective tissue framework has formed around the threads.  The maximum result of the procedure depends on the chosen method selected by your Doctor, as well as your body's individual characteristics.

The best treatment for skin and soft tissue sagging in aging is a surgical facelift.  Thread lifting is a non-surgical alternative for patients who are not ready or do not want to take the surgical option.  Most patients are pleased with the results of this treatment.  However, you may not be able to achieve 100% of the result that you desire.

Thread lifts cannot stop the process of aging.  From clinical experiences, the rejuvenation effect with absorbable threads generally last for 1½-2 years.

Thread lifts can be used to treat a number of different areas, from smoothing horizontal and vertical forehead wrinkles to lifting the brow and outer eyebrow area and restoring volume to sagging cheeks. They can also smooth lines around the mouth and tighten sagging skin under the lower jaw, lift and rejuvenate various parts of the body.

Advantages of Aptos Thread Lifting

  • Double action: lifting and regeneration
  • Minimally invasive procedure performed under the local anesthesia
  • Takes about 40 minutes
  • Immediately evident results
  • Minimum of downtime
  • New collagen growth and increased microcirculation
  • Long-term effect

Cost of Aptos Thread Lifting

The cost of APTOS thread lifting depends on the number of planned manipulations and is always calculated on an individual basis.  At the initial consultation, the doctor assesses the skin condition, determines correction zones and the planned scope of work, in accordance with the wishes of the patient, after which the final cost is formed.

In addition to the physiological features and severity of the problem, the final cost is also affected by the number and variety of threads used: the Nano, Excellence or Light Lift.  Introduction of APTOS threads is made strictly in accordance with the individual anatomical features of the structure of the face and body: the structure of the skin, the location of muscles and nerve endings.

Costs can vary from as little as $1200 to over $5000 if a significant number of threads are required.  But the average is between $3500 - $4500 for a midface treatment that helps to soften the nasolabial folds and marionette lines (i.e., the parentheses folds around the mouth).  More important than price, however, Dr Ho is an Accredited trainer for the Aptos Thread Lifting methods, who can develop a customised plan to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Consultation

It's vital to have a consultation before the procedure.  The best candidates for thread lifting are aged 35 to 55 and have relatively good skin tone with a little sagging.  If there is too much loose skin then surgery may be the best option.

There is a wide range of Aptos threads available for various parts of the face and body.

Threads lifting can be combined with dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and energy-based devices such as High-Intensity Focus Ultrasound and Laser to achieve enhanced results.

The cost of a consultation is $90.  This amount will go towards the total payment if you proceed with the thread lifting procedure.
